Republican Party

Carly Fiorina is now Chair(person) of John McCain's campaign.

I've made a couple of modest donations to the campaign, and I probably will again. However, stop sending me those trumped-up phony surveys. If you want to know what I really think - or even care - send me a real survey. But not these made-up things supposed to rile me up: "Should we do everything we can to stop Democrats from weakening border security?"

Please.

We had the majority and a Republican President and you didn't do a damn thing for border security. You think I have no memory at all? The party got what it deserved - in fact what it worked hard for: it abandoned all its principles and as a result got thrown out.

Come up with a real plan you are prepared to go to the mat for and tell me about that. Don't give me a negative sell about how much worse the Democrats are going to be. Tell me about how much better you are going to be.

No more BS surveys.

Carly Fiorina will do less for McCain that she did for the HPQ shareholders. The only thing I think we can hope for from McCain is strong defense policies and conservative court nominees, if he does what he says. However, with the DeomoNcrats controlling the Senate, I think we have little hope that any conservtive nominee will ever on a bench.

The DemoNcrat party has been hijacked over the decades by Marxists; and, in the process, many DemoNcrats fled into the Republican Party, showing up as RINOS, i.e. Republicans in Name Only.

At the moment, there seems to be no place for conservatives, and we may need to form a new political party. However, in the process, I fear the DemoNcrats will control all branches of government, changing the United States in such drastic ways, that it can never be redeemed by Conservatives.

But he was worked up because the CBS News Poll showed that 72% of Americans surveyed think the U.S. is on the wrong track. Stimulus Plan

Mr. President: The House stimulus bill is awful. Dangerous. Counter-productive. It has a very high probability of making things worse!. Your man Rahm Emanuel is supposed to be a tough guy: turn him loose on the House Dems - they are selling you down the river. Some simple tests: the spending will improve long-term productivity; the spending will reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and the spending will happen fast; very, very fast. There may need to be some legislation to enable spending without years of environmental review. For example, spending on wind farms would improve long-run productivity and reduce dependence on foreign oil. But let's say the wind farm is a couple of miles offshore. You can't have environmental groups stopping the development to see if some fish will be harmed. This spending has to happen now. And, no tax cuts with the possible exception of AMT.
